Applies to promotions where there are no payments required for a certain period of time and where a fixed rate of interest on the purchase does not accrue for a certain period of time. Usually the timeframe associated with the "no payment" aspect of the promotion is greater than the timeframe associated with the "no interest" aspect of the promotion.
